CLOSEST TO RAMI AREA
Mina valley spans over a length reaching up to 6km, with RAMI area located just at its start (Makkah end) & Muzdalifa valley located on its other end. approx 7km from Rami area. Mina valley is subdivided in more than 200 walled compounds called Maktabs, each housing anywhere from 2000 to 5000 Hajis. Maktab number starts from 1 & crosses 200. The location of a Maktab is of utmost importance for stay in MINA, as for three consecutive days, Hajis have to walk from their Maktabs to the RAMI area for stoning the Shaitaan (on 10-11-12th ZilHaj (13th ZilHajj optional) & return to the Maktab. Maktab-1 is located in the most VVIP zone of Mina & is closest to the RAMI area providing Hajis the convenience of least possible walk.

CLOSETO MASJID-e-KHAIF
This masjid is located near the smallest Shaitaan area. The Prophet PBUH & many other Prophets proformed salah here. Its significance is quoted in many Ahadith. According to Ibn-e-Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) the Prophet PBUH said: “Seventy Prophets prayed here.” {Majma’uz-Zawahid}
Yazeed bin Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) says that when he performed Hajj with the Prophet PBUH, it was at the Masjid Khaif that He performed the Fajr with the Prophet PBUH.
Abdullah bin Abbas (Ra) narrates that it was in Masjid al – khaif that the Prophet PBUH addressed them. According to a hadith, 700 Prophets (AS) & in another hadith, 1000 Prophets have been mentioned to have prayed here. Our Prophet PBUH also performed prayer in this mosque & made Khutba in Hujja -tul- Widah here. It is also narrated but not verified that Allah made a manifestation for the Prophet Ibrahim (AS) in this place. This place has also been reported as graves of over seventy Prophets (AS).

EASY ACCESS TO MEDICAL FACILITIES
No Matter how well you plan a journey to ensure the availability of all comforts, but God forbid you cannot avoid the risk of encountering a medical emergency or an unexpected accident. The only step that can be proactively taken to handle such an event is to ensure quick access to medical aid. In Mina, the only mode of transportation is your feet or maximum a wheel chair & being near to a medical facility is a blessing & of utmost importance for getting timely medical help, if need arises. Ambulance can also be called but due to huge crowds on Mina roads, ambulance moves very slow, so it’s to stay closest to a medical facility accessible by foot or a wheel chair, Maktab 1 definitely has this advantage. It is located just opposite to the Mina Medical centre, hardly few steps away (Less than a 1 Minute walk) Besides this Maktab-1 is also just few hundred meters away from the only fully equipped & well- staffed proper emergency hospital of Mina.

CLOSEST TO BUS PICKUP DROP POINT @ KHALID BRIDGE
During the most important & busy 5 Hajj days (8thZill Hajj-12thZilHajj) no vehicle can enter Mina. There are only few designated spots up to where all buses can come to pick & drop Hajis. All Hajis have to walk to this Point from their Maktab to board the buses or vice versa. Depending on Maktab’s Location, this walk can be anywhere from few 100 Meter to up to few Kilometers. However, Maktab 1 is located hardly 100 Meters from this buses point, a mere 3 mins walk. This is a big advantage & of extreme convenience for our Hajis.
