5-STAR HOTELS IN AZIZIA To avoid exorbitant hotel rents for keeping Hajj costs low. almost all private Hajj groups either shift their Hujjaj on 4th Zilhaj (hum 5-Star hotels in front of Haram) to Azizia, or make them travel on 6th ZilHaj. directly from Pakistan to Azizia. Azizia is new Makkah city area. 2-3km area from Kabba Haram. For the period between 4th ZilHajj to 14/15th ZilHajj. all private groups from around the world hire unserviced buildings in Azizia which cannot be even rated as a one star Hotel. In recent past Saudi Govt. has put a restriction on return flights for Hajjis of Non GCC countries, by not allowing them to book return flights before 16th ZilHaj.

This shift in Saudi Govt policy has forcefully added additional stay of another 3-4 Nights in Azizia even after completing Hajj (12th till 16th ZilHajfl. So the total stay in Azizia increased to almost 7 (± 1) Nights, 4 days before Hajj & 3 days after Hai. However. in the past this Azizia stay used to be maximum 1 day before & 1 day after Hajj. The unserviced semi-furnished buildings in Azizia always had a lot of short coming & serious accommodation quality issues but due to extremely short transit stay of just 1-2 nights. it never led to much complaints. Inspite of poor quality of accommodation & services. But now due to extended stay of upto 7 nights in Azizia.

Staying in such poor quality apartment building became quite uncomfortable & at times un-bearable. As they didn’t meet the criteria fora 1 star rating as per international hotel standards. Hajjis of private executive Hajj Packages coming in such buildings after completing their stay in well maintained neat & clean 5-Star hotels of Madinah & Makkah, always got extremely uncomfortable. This flaw started to create an uncomfortable & bad experience both before & after Hajj for Hajis who selected 5-Star hotel packages just to stay comfortable during their Holy journey. but they actually had to spend most part of their total stay in such buildings.

Actually, a 5-Star hotel package with Azizia building stay was never a full 5-Star package, as from 4/5th ZilHajj till 15/16th ZilHajj Hajis used to stay in such Azizia buildings & not 5-star hotels. Regular feedback from most of our previous years Hujjaj led us to take this bold decision of abandoning such poor quality buildings & instead book a full 5-Star hotel in Azizia. owned & operated by a well renowned international hotel chain. Our decision was made easy due to the opening of an exclusive 5-Star Hotels complex in Azizia (built around ALRAJHI Masjid, a WAQF Trust by the owner of ALRAJHI Bank).

In an executive Short Hajj 5-Star package with Azizia (building stay, the maximum no. of nights fall in such building instead of a 5-Star hotel, making package extremely uncomfortable in days just before. during and after Hajj. The Al Rajhi Hotels & Mosque complex besides being a full 5-Star residence facility, is also located on Makkah Ring Road giving its location another very important strategic benefit during the most crowded 5 Hajj days. VIP or Executive Short Hajj Packages (10-15 days) that offer stay in Azizia building just before & after Hajj had a major package design fault which we got removed by our out of the box thinking & innovative approach to sincerely facilitate Hujjaj.
